Following on from the Best Bar thread and I’m also sure you guys that spend more time than me in HH will know a lot better than me but reading the website for a while now and having been to HH with heaps of different people (single guys / families / Thai friends / falang couples) some places never seem to get a mention and I’m sure there is some places we’ve all been that nobody else knows about that might interest readers who intend of visiting someplace different. So if anyone has any places stick them in the pot.
Italian restaurant at the Marriot = beautiful place with the sea coming right up to the place, very posh / expensive but once a blue moon for couples wouldn’t break the bank.
Mr. Burger 3 = right along canal road and at night the place looks good with water features, food good and cheap enough
German bar (don’t know correct name) as you drive up to the golden Buddha, nice A/C joint, very nice inside, never super busy but probably because its so far out of town but ok if there is a few of you out together |

Mack111,
I put up a thread on "Women's Issues" asking people to recommend places they particularly liked. It was ostensibly for women, but also for things both genders could enjoy. If you particularly like one or all of these restaurants/bars (I agree about Mr Burger3, I was amazed how nice it was!) & you have a spare moment, could you post your recommendation there too?
Thanks a lot _________________ "The question is not, can they reason? Nor, can they talk? But, can they suffer?" - Jeremy Bentham, philosopher, 1748-1832

never tried the marriot...but i am always after good restaurant whilst in Hua Hin...sadly you are right there many good restaurant who dont get a mention...so if you have any other restaurant especially with nice settings.. i am interested
I ought to try hotel restaurant more often but i guess you have to make the effort to walk in the hotel 1st...and they are not always so inviting...especially when you dont know what you will find behind the reception...
