Doesn't a brand new Phantom cost about 83.000 Baht? _________________ I intend to live forever -- so far, so good. |

Yes it say custom, a total of over 90.000 Baht invested - http://classifiedshuahin.com/detail.php?id=248
That's a 7000/8000 Bt custom outfit.
Mileage 56.000 kms
I think it's 15.000 Bt too expensive, but that's not important as long as this is only my personal view.

I agree with Norseman. I was quoted 82,000 baht for the brand new Limited Edition Fire model which already is partly factory customised.
Some people think that modifications add value, others think it reduces the value as its not original anymore. |

The paint job on the bike was custom painted by an artist in Bangkok.
The paint job alone ran about 12,000 baht.
I don't expect to get what I put into the bike because that is never the case.
Make an offer and we will talk.
Thanks for the questions.

By the way the inspiration for the artwork on the bike was Metallica's Ride the lightning Album cover.
This bike is a real head turner wherever you go! |

Don't want to get too philosophical here, particularly as I have developed a purely spiritual relationship with H2ODunc's new machine (Dunc, sorry to mention it in the same thread as a Phantom), but surely the value of anything is quite a personal thing. I don't think most of the new houses around Hua Hin are worth anything like what people seem prepared to pay for them, but that doesn't stop the price going up.
As to the scrawny little Phantom in question (sorry, Johnny, nothing personal against you or your bike, just me and anything under about 500cc), it's worth nothing to someone who can't ride, yet possibly quite a lot to a Metallica fan (although I thought they dealt in dead bodies rather than hard cash...) who likes underpowered motorbikes that try to look tough.
It's worth what someone's prepared to pay for it.
Now, where did I leave my Honda Dream?

BTW, surely the words 'factory' and 'customised' are a contradiction in terms? _________________ Never argue with a man carrying a water buffalo... |

My bike is a big step up from a Honda wave motorbike. It does good on as too.
I got originally to do my day trips out to Chaam, Petchaburi, Pranburi, and Pala-U.
It fits 2 very comfortably for those trips. |
