Good luck for Friday guys (and Dawn) - I'll be watching for the results.

Whatever happens - enjoy yourselves. Just remember, it wouldn't be a race if somebody didn't win, and somebody didn't lose. Every team has its part to play. Have a fantastic time - I just wish I could be there to watch.

I'm sure there are others like me, who have been watching the progress of the "team" with bemused interest! Its the sort of thing I would get involved with if I was there.

As I missed last Sunday's torture session, I don't know the details for Friday, yet. What at time are we supposed to be there. Any other extra commands from the coach or the good captain or uncle T?

Yes, good luck indeed. Wouldn't be surprised if Terry had a trick up his sleeve, perhaps a half dozen crew team rowers from Oxford or Cambridge who just perhaps may be vacationing in HH, to round out the group? Wink

I've actually been spending my time trying to train some of my Giant Mekong Catfish in the art of towing. Rolling Eyes

The sculdugorous plan being to get them hitched to the good ship Crazy Farang under the waterline. Then with a secret crack of the Cap'ns whip we could surge ahead. Wink

Trouble is - the buggers don't want to get caught in the first place. Shoot em up

I tried to find a team view times ago, but I didn' found it.
I tried also to find the training, I didn' found it and hospitality wasn't
also there, so I quit !!

I'm not sure what you're actually making out, but I'll answer your last question straight - ME!

I've had a terrific time the last few months of Sundays. I hate exercise, but I've enjoyed the training. I've made loads of new friends & I've accomplished something I've never accomplished before - whether we win or lose I'm the only woman that has been in this team from the beginning & (OK, I splash a lot! Embarassed

) I've given my all, same as the men!

I think our coach is a sweetheart - I just hate his whistle! Twisted Evil

I like his wife very much & I think our Cap'n & First Mate are great. The rest of the team are a real laugh & it's been a completely enjoyable & worthwhile experience. I'm sorry you didn't feel the same, but maybe we don't all get the same experience from things we try...

I guess one cannot please everybody eh?

It's been a great experience and as BG suggests - it would be good to keep in touch after the event too.

Top tip - Untie boat from jetty immediately prior to start of race!! thumbs up
