Hobbiecat,
On my PCs it is simple. However, you need to download and enable the Google menu bar first (it has numerous advantages apart from this).
Once you've downloaded and enabled it, you get a little search window on your menu bar. Click the downarrow and window listing all of your searches is displayed. At the bottom of this window is an option 'Clear Search History'
If you need more help - please ask again _________________ Green Army position 21

Well I tryed that already and it dose clear everthing that has been loaded into the search box on the tool bar but it still dosen't seem to clear the acual Google web page?
Here's my next question. It seems I've turned off my "add ons" to Internet Explorer and keep coming up with an empty page when I open my browser. Any idea how to turn it back on. Been trying throught the help section ( tools, internet options, programs page and so on ) with little luck and find myself in a very violent fashion! _________________ Why is it called 'after dark' when it really is 'after light'? |

Hobbiecat,
The Google search history gets erased for me
Regarding the Add Ons - can be more specific regarding what you've turned off?
What version of IE are you using? _________________ Green Army position 21

No exactly sure what I turned off or if the computer did it it's self? This unit of mine seems to have a mind of it's own sometimes. I think it's time to dynamite this thing and buy a new one.

That's the operating system.
What I was asking was what version of Internet Explorer (IE) are you using, and precisely what is it that you've mislaid? _________________ Green Army position 21

I've now found the bit that you've lost (and I'm keeping it ). Seriously, I guess its the option through Tools and Manage Add-Ons - then move your mouse to the black arrow head on the right. What do you get when you do that? _________________ Green Army position 21

I get to the manage add-ons page but the options at the bottom of the page are not high lighted? (Enable, Disable) Can't seem to figure out how to get them activated so I can "Enable" add-ons.
Have placed one stick of dynamite in my D Drive and have the matches sitting close by on the table. _________________ Why is it called 'after dark' when it really is 'after light'? |

Hobbiecat,
Welcome back - I thought you'd blown it up last night.
Mine aren't highlighted either. You have to select your add ons first ie mouse click for one or Ctrl & multi clicks for many. When you've selected your add ons, you should then be able to click enable. _________________ Green Army position 21
