If you put 009 or 008 before (44), instead of + or 001 on your mobile it's very cheap.

Can't help you with land phone.

If you have a computer try using Skype via your computer. Also there are various phine cards that you can buy from the 7/11 shops that allow cheap calls from any land line

Why has no one suggested two tin cans and a string? Local calls here are also free, just tell your neighbor's wife someting and in no time the entire village will know via the coconut express service. Razz
