| Is there enough bar, restaurant, accomodation and other interesting activity going on there to devote a mini-section of the forum to it? Pete |

Pete,
There probably is but someone there would have to moderate it and supply content as I rarely get up to Cha-am.
Any volunteers?
I will add a section to the forum if we get enough response. |

| There are lots of restaurants and accomodation of all sorts there, but found the bar scene and other interesting activity harder to find. Only discovered 4 or 5 bars just to the right off the main drag heading from highway towards the beach (a couple of blocks back from the beach). They were pretty quiet during a mid week day this January. Anyone else have some ideas on where to go in the evenings? There are many good seafood restaurants north of town near the fishing port. |

Lev,
I have a mate, cyber name of Alf Gandhi (another fellow Hammer) who lives in Cha-Am that posts on a WHU forum that both I and Wanderlust participate on.
He is currently in England . I'll drop him a note and ask him if he'd like to moddy a section on Cha-Am for you. _________________ FORM IS TEMPORARY | CLASS IS PERMANENT

The only place I know in Cha Am is Paradise Corner at the very northern end of the beach road. We go there on Mondays to play darts. The bar is owned by a Norwegian, Roger and his Thai wife, Pim. Very nice people as are the regulars who go to the bar (not only Normen). The staff is also very friendly, well worth a visit. _________________ 知彼知己, 胜乃不殆; 知天知地, 胜乃可全
