I've read the threads on car hire but they seem fairly old so I hope no one minds if I start another.
I've also seen the details of two large car hire firms but their charges are equally big. Are there small local businesses that rent out more reasonably? I don't need a shiny new one, anything reliable would do with reasonable insurance cover.
I don't need names at the moment (which may be moderated anyway) just the knowledge that they exists in HH.
Many thanks. _________________ Thai me to the moon |

I dont know when you are due to arrive in Thailand John, but for your information, you cannot drive in Hua hin/Bangkok unless you have an international driving permit.
The car hire firms will hire you a car on your U..K. Licence, but everytime you get stopped by the local plod, it is a 200baht fine, or it was last year, the fine may have increased, it is just as easy and saves a lot of hassle, if you apply for an international driving permit from either the AA or RAC, they only cost a fiver and are valid for one year. _________________ The sweetest girl that I ever kissed was another man's wife.....My Mother |
