Irish John has assured me there will be a traditional fare including a full address to the haggis.

I once had lunch in a Robert Burns restaurant in Dumfries. At that time I enjoyed the Scottish friendliness and the power of their beer and Whisky. Usually understanding their talking, but now I did not understand Jockey's words of wisdom so I rather stay home.
Sometimes you understand, sometimes you don't.
Glasgowians; don't understand a word but really great people living there.

Have a nice evening guys. Looking forward to read your reports!!!

Cheers Cheers Cheers

I understood it, but I think Jockey would prefer true, full-blooded Scots. Wink Cheers

Moving this to the Cha-am section as it seems to be more free promo for Crawfords there.

Not at all Dawn. Anyone (including yourself), is more than welcome if you think you might enjoy the night. There might be a few lady teachers coming and to my knowledge, only one of them is Scots. I'll chat to John and see if he'll lay on a taxi back to Hua Hin.

I would love it. Haggis is one of my favourite foods, & I haven't had neeps since I was last at my Granny's in Elgin (I do haggis with cabbage & it's not the same!! Sad )

However, as always, I have the problem of a sitter for littl'un, so, have a good one & have a wee dram for me! Cheers

Do they rear wild 'Haggis' here in Thailand? or do they use the battery raised style as in 'East Chovo' I only ask as the taste diffrence (as you will agree) is vast, the latter being saltier due to its proximity to the sea of 'Chaf'
Wild Haggi (old Laviss spelling) alas are sadly becomming less and less visible in the wild and indeed are an endangered species (number 54 on the W.W.F list) So when you are tucking into your Haggis next week please spare a thought for its dwindling numbers......

I seen a few wild ones running about up beside Tropical Hill, then again it might have been my mate crawling home from my house last month
