Hi all,
My husband has had very high blood pressure for a while,he has been gong to the poly clinic every month for 4 months and they havent even referred him to a specialist yet.Any one had any dealings with the blood pressure departments in the hospitals here ?
Any feedback gratefully recieved.Thanks

I went to Phetcherat Hospital in Phetburi to check my high blood pressure.
Got a prescription for some pills, which I used for two weeks.
Went back for a new check four weeks later with and found to my surprise that the blood pressure was back to normal.
This happened around a year ago and I guess I now need to undergo a new treatment again due to it's a bit high again.

I have been going to Dr. Sumet who has been keeping an eye on my blood pressure for more than 3 years now. His surgery is south of main traffic lights on LHS of Petchkasem Rd and yes he is a peadiatrician (Spelling?) but he's also a damn good GP - speaks good English too.

He can check for Cholesterol and Triglycerides which are the cause of my problem and they have been under control for ages.

I would suggest that you visit a reliable hospital FIRST (nearest appears to be in Petcherat according to most board memebers here) and get a full check and diagnosis of the causes.

Once known, I'm sure that Sumet can deal with the regular checks - I go every other month.

Which doc at the poly did you see?

Saran is the best in town and he's there Wednesday Pm and Friday Am

He also has a clinic down soi 51 6pm to 9pm Monday to Saturdays
