The people that read this forum would like the truth written, thereby not wasting their time visiting inferior premises.
Perhaps a competion should be run for best bar to ascertain the best bars in Hua Hin.
THE TOP 5 WOULD BE, Crawfords, Butterfly Rock, El Murphy's, Johnny Walkers and Lucky Shot for sure.
Perhaps HHAD could organise this?
Their is no competion as yet so the claims are rubbish and laughable.

errrrr HHAD do provide the forum for open discussions on bars, we're in it now. There are hunderds and hundreds of honest posts about the bars on here.
Getting upset about a tongue-in-cheek slogan, is pathetic IMO.
The general concensus is that it is a popular, welcoming, friendly bar, as is the owner.
Yes the table has a slight roll, as do most in town. I'll let you call the pool table police.
Chill out and enjoy your the bars, if you don't like some of them, don't go in them. Or is that too easy.

What a load of twaddle! What gives you the right to name, so decisively, the top 5 bars in HH? If there were a vote organised, you would get as many different votes as there are members on this forum. Sure, some would overlap, but we all want different things from a bar. Some want pretty bg's, some want sport, some want live music, some want cheap beer or a good selection of beers, some want a good fry-up, some want a good cocktail list, somewhere to take the wife & kids, nearness to their home or hotel, where they know lots of people, open-air, air-con, a quiet place, a lively place; the list is endless. There is not one bar in HH that can meet all those criteria (and no-one would go there if there was). So get off your high horse, admit that your opinion is just that, your opinion (& perfectly valid for you) & stop slagging off places where a great many members are perfectly happy to go & enjoy themselves.

Trouble is they are not smart or creative enough to hide who they really are.
We get a new member register, 12 or so normal posts, then a froth-at-the-mouth attack on the intended target. Anger gets the better of them as they do not have the capacity to handle their emotions, and the internet is their only outlet as they are cowards.
So transparent its embarrassing.
Ofcourse I'm not referring to you Skandii

It is only rumor but rumor from the MIB who are supposed be organizing it other wise I would not have posted it.
I suppose it could just be a ruse to extract more money during this time of uncertainty.
We will have to wait for the military and MIB to kiss and make up first. The signs are looking good. I have not seen any military snooping around for about three weeks now.

b) that treats you nicely,
c) that keeps the beer cold and
d) attracts people whose company pleasant and enjoyable. |
