When it rains water leaks down the walls, it has the worst Pool Table in Hua Hin and you have to watch the bills. When you do play Pool you sweat buckets because no ventilation.
I'll take Crawfords and Butterfly Rock anytime, lovely aircon.
Q. The claim is totally fictitous, would ony get 2 votes, one from the farang owner and one from his wife the cashier. |

Agree China Whites is a breath of fresh air.
Johnnie Walker's is smart now too, unlike it's owner

China White is near Billys, it's really nicely done out. Proper posh like!
Drinks a wee bit more expensive but hey they have spent a chunk on the place. |

Is China White's the new bar there - along the bazaar? If so I stumbled in a few weeks ago. Certainly it looked very comfortable, but I was paying 90 Baht for a small Chang.
Nearly fell off my bar stool, but then again that's not unusual at 1-2am. _________________ "I spent a lot of my money on booze, birds and fast cars - the rest I just squandered". George Best. |

In relation to China Whites, I now know exactly where that bar is, and must admit, in the two visits I have made to HH, I have never seen anyone drinking in there, whether it be during the day or the evening.
There is nothing wrong with the look of the bar. Is by far one of the smartest in HH, but for whatever reason, no one ever drinking in it.
Another bar in the smarter looking bar range is the Monsoon bar, drinks are reasonable and food is pretty good.

Chels,
Not sure what time you went past, but think it only ever gets busy at the karaoke time of night, ie 1am onwards.
Pity cos if in another area would get more trade early on.

That's a very valid point by burger.
All bars seem to have a peak time and it varies on many things. I have noticed some bars that have a busy mid-afternoon but empty in the afternoon.
The night bazaar in general is later as everybody knows you are guaranteed a drink after hours. Other bars not in that area have had slightly more pressure put on them lately to close on time and quite often the patrol police are round about 1:00 AM to remind the bars that they have to close.
Rumor has it thought that they will all revert to 2:00 AM soon when the military and the old bill get themselves in agreement on loot sharing. _________________

Like others have said it's as the mood takes you !!!
JW's great pool table and very nice after the refab
Luck shot good selection of pool tables with some good music
Octopussy good music etc....
Butterfly rock new and for me sterile
Billys great company
Bernies great for the golfer
P&P a little small but lively
Sabai wonderful food (chilli the best in Hua Hin)
Crawfords good for footy and to cool off
This might get boring so just try then all ! I cant say i dislike any bar in Hua Hin. _________________ Thats me Im on my way to luxury |
