3 Sisters Restaurant

I dont know how popular or how many expats in Hua Hiin know about this restaurant but ive been going there for over a year now[maybe twice a month] and have never been disappointed.its about 7 kms from town centre on the klang klong road.Its thai owned[3 sisters of course] and has a big menu for both western food and thai food.

It is quite big with 3 or 4 different seating areas and a big stage with live music at night[i think weekends only].There also a small swimming pool for children in the middle of it but ive never seen anyone in it.ive been told that kids can use it but not too sure.

The scallops are best ive had and the musscles are pretty damn good as well.I would also recommend the steak [new zealand or argentina] and is also fantastic.If you havnt tried you should,like i said ive never been disappointed and theres not too many places in Hua Hin that i can say that about.

I’ve been there a couple of times during the day and the pool does get used. You can bung your kids in there whilst you have dinner.
As you say, it’s not a bad restaurant and in the afternoons it’s pretty relaxed, there’re enough seating choices to get a bit of space to yourself.
I haven’t tried the western food but I’ve enjoyed the Thai menu.

WEWNT THERE LAST MONTH HAD THAI FOOD AND WAS IMPRESSED GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY TOO. Very Happy

If you're talking about "The 3 Girls" restaurant, Ive been there too. Marvelous, I'd recommend it.

I ate at Three Sisters a while ago. It was at about 5 pm so probably the place was not at it's best.
However, the steak was atrocious and the ketchup bottle exploded in my hand staining my shirt all over.
It must've been left too long in the sun and either the heat or perhaps ketchup fermenting in the bottle
resulted in red cloud on my shirt. The staff thought it was the best slapstick ever, absolutely hilarious.

To round it all off the coffee was the worst coffee I've ever drunk in HH. All in all one of the worst
restaurant experiences I've ever had. I'll never go there again, ever.

On this map it is in square D4 where the bottom line of that square crosses the canal road. Best I can do! Very Happy

And as you are heading North on the canal road where WL is saying, it’s on your right with a car park in front and alongside a stream with a garden centre on the opposite bank.

I'll be staying quite near there and as some of the wifes family are going to be around, it might be a place to try out.

And as I wouldn't be fussed about steak and don't drink coffee, I should be okay, and I'll take extra care if needing any ketchup as well!! Mr. Green

I like the place, have never had any bad experiences there, and I have been there lunch time, afternoons and evenings, but I have heard a couple of expats complain about it, so that maybe down to luck, what is ordered and who is working I guess. We always go now with our baby who is fussed over and taken care of many times when we are eating, which means we are able to enjoy a meal without interruptions which in itself is a pleasure. I wouldn't say the food there is the best (some very nice dishes, some average) but it is decent and extremely good value. I don't generally eat farang food when I am in a Thai restaurant so can't comment on their offerings, but the reason I don't is that most Thai restaurants (in my experience) can't cook farang food very well! Razz

The reason I went to Three Sisters is the OP recommending their steak. I, too, have the experience that very few
Thai restaurants can make even half-way decent steak, but decided to make an exception due to recommendations.

Must've caught them on a bad moment, I guess. Nevertheless, won't go there again.

I've been on a quest of finding the best steak in HH for a while now. El Murphy's leads, Sizzler is second and the
quest goes on. It's very frequently quite tough, not to say stringy, job but someone's gotta do it. Preferably moi.
